The joint venture between Perth-based Southern Cross Electrical Engineering (SCEE) and Kentech has won more work on the Chevron-operated Wheatstone LNG project near Onslow in Western Australia.

SCEE-Kentech joint venture’s (KSJV) sub-contract with the project’s head contractor, Bechtel, includes the delivery of electrical and instrumentation installation services at Wheatstone. After winning more work on the project, the joint venture’s order book for the Wheatstone LNG project now amounts to over $60 million.

“The work, which has commenced, is expected to be performed in the 2017 financial year,” said SCEE in a statement.
