Under this contract award, GR Engineering will supply a 1.2 million tonne per annum lead sulphide floatation process plant and ancillary infrastructure at the Abra operations.

“I am pleased we have been able to retain GRES, which has the most relevant experience and understanding of our project, on terms that are in-line with our Feasibility Study estimates,” Galena Mining Managing Director Alex Molyneux said.

The Abra Base Metals Project is located in the Gascoyne region, between Newman and Meekatharra, about 110 kilometres from Sandfire’s DeGrussa Project.

The Abra operations is estimated to have a mine life of 16 years and it will produce high-value, high-grade lead-silver concentrate.
