Main works are set to start on the new Warren Health Service as Pindan has been awarded the $27.7m contract to construct the building, which is a part of the overall $39.3m project.

The Warren Health Service will replace the current Warren Hospital in Manjimup, bringing together a range of health services in one convenient location and providing better care to the regional community.

The existing Warren Hospital will remain operational throughout construction.

Forward works undertaken by Perkins Builders are now completed. This entailed demolishing old buildings and paving the way for the new facility.

The new Warren Health Service will include an expanded, modern emergency department and inpatient ward, upgraded medical imaging, improved technology support for clinicians and patients, primary health care and other support services.
