“We’ll be commencing early contractor involvement with Sirona and the consultant team immediately to share our expertise, leverage our national experience and collaborate to ensure value-driven outcomes during the crucial planning phase.
“We look forward to partnering with Sirona Capital on a coordinated redevelopment that will deliver a precinct to redefine the heart of Fremantle,” said Probuild WA Managing Director Sam Delmenico.
The Kings Square project will comprise of a 25,800-SQM retail and office development – worth approximately $220 million – at Fremantle’s old Myer building and a new administration centre for the City of Fremantle, valued at $50 million.
“The appointment of Probuild to undertake Kings Square Fremantle is an important milestone for Sirona Capital and for the Fremantle community.
“Our involvement and commitment to Fremantle continues to grow. We’re pleased that Kings Square is helping to stimulate investment by others in a City which has a fantastic future, nurtured by a Council which welcomes development and shares our vision for economic growth,” said Sirona Capital Managing Director Matthew McNeilly.
Construction is expected to begin in August 2017 and be completed by mid-2019.
