SRG Global Ltd has recently secured a $70 million five year contract that will get the company to deliver drill and blast services for Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited at two of its Western Australia operations.

“We are extremely pleased to have secured this new, five-year term contract with Saracen who are a major player in the gold sector. We are excited to partner with Saracen to deliver innovative solutions to drive both safety and operational performance,” SRG Global Managing Director David Macgeorge said.

The scope of the contract will involve providing specialist drill and blast services, which includes production drilling, explosives supply and management, and grade control drilling. These works are going to be undertaken at the Thunderbox and Carosue Dam operations.

The Thunderbox operations are located approximately 45 kilometres south of the town of Leinster and the Carosue Dam operations are located about 120 kilometres north-east of Kalgoorlie.
